Dynamic Dashboards are here!! 16 December 2010
What is the change? Currently, dashboards run using the security settings of a single, specific user so all users see the same data, regardless of their own security settings. Salesforce.com is introducing dynamic dashboards functionality that enables dashboards to run using the security settings of the user viewing the dashboard, giving users that have access to the dashboard a personalized view of the data. This feature is currently available to some customers and salesforce.com is continuing the phased rollout of this feature to the next subset of customers.
Some organisations have been receiving communication regarding this as notification that their organization may have been enabled with this feature on December 16, 2010.
I know a few people who will be ecstatic about this news!!
